For twenty one years, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, formerly The Little Orchestra of Cambridge, has been Cambridge's community orchestra, bringing good music to hospitals, schools, elderly housing, and community centers for audiences who might not otherwise hear live classical music. All our concerts are free.
Since its founding in 1975, the group has grown from a handful of players to a full-sized orchestra of 75 adult amateur musicians, and has presented nearly 200 free concerts in Cambridge and surrounding communities.
This year we acknowledge Adam Grossman's ten years as Music Director. Under Mr. Grossman's stewardship, the goup has grown significantly both in size and musical quality. Each concert will highlight a unique aspect of his directorship.
All concerts are FREE and open to the public. Schedule subject to change -- call 617-547-9477.
FREE Parking for the concerts at Cambridge Rindge & Latin School is available in the Felton Street Garage.
